FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What Kind of Powder Will The Patriot Loader Take?

An abbreviated discussion on powder

Blackhorn 209

Perhaps the most popular loose powder on the market today, the Blackhorn 209 propellent flows flawlessly through the Patriot Loader. Pop the cap top, and pour in your barrel with ease and confidence without spills. You may tamp down and tap the loader in the barrel out of habit, but the Patriot Loader empties fully without any external help. Load and get ready.

Pellets

There many "speed" loaders in the wild today, however the Patriot Loader Pellet edition compartmentalizes the pellets from the bullet and primer. This allows you to focus on one aspect of the loading process at a time. Other loaders are just a "through tube" where you could potentially drop and lose an item from the adrenaline rush or cold shaky hands. The Pellet edition can hold up to 3 typical 50gr pellets at a time. A future design will allow a taller cap for capacity of "magnum" pellets.

Traditional Black Powder

From the dawn of the American Revolution, traditional black powder in multiple forms has been used. The Patriot Loader has the capacity to hold multiple powder types and granule sizes. We've tested multiple propellants on the market, coarse to fine powders (F to FFFF), and the patented design allows the propellent to flow with ease. With the flip cap design, pouring you powders into your barrel is simple without spills too.

General Washington endorsed this before crossing the Potomac. Maybe.
